Each time I carry out a visual inspection of my blog my eyes are drawn to the blog photo at the top of the page and I make a mental note to remember to one day write an explanation about it. Unfortunately my mental note tends to get caught up in a myriad of other things and I often leave it to dwell at the back of my mind. Nevertheless, as the saying goes, it’s better late than never and now I’m finally getting around to it.
The main photo on my blog is of the wedding between Charles Victor Barratt and Matilda Maria Crampton (my Great Grandparents). They were married in Bunbury on 24 September 1919 and this photo was taken with Matilda’s aunts and uncles (The Hursts).
